Could you suggest controllers that have similar form-factor to NES, but work with modern computers?

I currently found N30 2.4G from 8BitDo, but it’s for NES classic. Although I saw versions on eBay and AliExpress that claim that support Bluetooth and I saw this video on YouTube that shows connection over 8bitdo receiver (which I have!). So I assume that there is a discontinued Bluetooth version?

There is also 8BitDo NES30 gamepad, but looks like it’s discontinued.

And lastly I saw mod kits for the original controller, but they don’t have turbo buttons.

2.4 and BT aren’t the same thing, don’t trust ebay or aliecpress sellers over 8bitdo.

The n30 2.4g comes with the transmitter. And it’s a bog standard usb - not limited to the nes classic, so just grab one of those.

But on their boxes it’s explicitly saying BT. And in the linked video they show it working with BT with Nintendo Switch and Raspberry PI via BT dongle. So confusing :(

Are you sure? On the picture it looks different from the regular USB. And they explicitly mention only “NES Classic Edition”.

Are they legit 8bitdos and not knockoffs? They may be selling the discontinued model like this one. They’ve been superceded by the rounded edge pro - not for any malfunctions but i think nintendo were threatening lawsuits or something unless they changed the aesthetic.

Looking at the 2.4 i realised it’s actually the classic port adapter, so yeah, sorry that one is nes-like machines only. Unless you have a retro adapter like a retrofreak or a very forgiving unifying pickup.

Your poor hands. Some things are best left in memories of the past and the NES controller is one of them. I remember the corners digging in to my hands and even the buttons being hard on my thumbs.
