I really get the feeling they are trying to rekindle some of the old with this season. I think they forgot how much they enjoyed it until they started rewatching during the podcast. I know not everyone is enjoying this season but it feels like a return to what made it great.

I enjoyed this episode. Lots of favourite old irregular characters returning, and I had a particular fondness for the scene where the women were psyching out the men. Charlie suddenly being hyper aware of his elbows was a great concept, magnificently executed. And I’m also glad to see Dee getting some proper screen time - it feels like she’s been wallpaper all of this series so far.

Glad we got the McPoyles back for one more showing. The chili cheese story buildup and payoff were hilarious.

Loved all the big lebowski references.

Second weakest episode of the season, but a big improvement over Rat E. The Dennis scenes were fantastic, he’s a high level summoner. Plenty of laughs, really happy with this season that the bar is high enough that this is considered a weak episode

The bits of them psyching each other out were the only good parts of the episode. The rest just felt like they put all the supporting characters in a room and said, this is enough.

        Yeah, I agree.

I enjoy quite a few if the newer episodes, but some of them also carry the “let’s just put in a bunch of references here and hope for the best”, which I truly hope won’t be the coming future of Megan Ganz directing style or whatever is happening these days.

Bring it back to classic sunny, yeah, but rely on originality still.
