I’m mainly referencing an observation of mine on the odd hyper focus on US politics amongst older folk, when youd imagine there’d be more of a focus on internal political issues, like of what you mentioned.

Historically the Conservative Party was left of the Democrats. Now they are Republicans and the Libs are as right as the Democrats
Is you’re referring to the US party switch, you’re being awfully confusing about it.
(For those that don’t know, the Republicans used to be the left and Democrats used to be the right. They switched in the 60s.)
