If it means my code won’t panic out of nowhere and cause a disaster for me, I am willing to “take a vacation” for my program to finish compiling.

I use rust btw.
I mean, all cmake does is run some commands for you. You not understanding cmake errors (mostly) means you don’t understand the errors given to you by the C/C++ compiler.
I still think Briar and SimpleX are the best ones for both privacy and anonymity.
And how exactly is this about reddit?
I understand you. Zed does give me some headaches sometimes but I mean it’s still pretty alpha. Maybe I’ll switch back to vscodium until zed becomes more mature after all. Though they never said it was an IDE so I don’t expect for it to be ever feature rich as vscodium.

I switched to Zed recently. Very basic and definitely is not as feature rich as VSCodium but I’m sure it’ll get better.
I agree. I find Rust’s syntax much better than Go’s.
They are practically infinite, but finite technically.
Yeah, I’ve been using Rust with Leptos and Axum for a website I’ve been working on. Works great tbh. I don’t even know JS.
I wouldn’t really defend cloudflare here. Sure, the tier might have been a bit cheap for a big online casino with high traffic. However, cloudflare should have set limits in place or warn the casino beforehand and not just surprise businesses with great amounts of builtup “damage” money if the business was causing their network to “struggle”. The call they made with the CF sales team about the serious issue wasn’t a warning at all. According to the blog, they just asked if the casino considered the enterprise tier. Nothing about their networks struggling is said at all. Additionally their future calls were misleading and just tricks to get the casino to talk with the sales team. I’m not sure how CF’s fooling the casino here can be seen as something reasonable at all.
They shouldn’t call it unlimited if they can’t handle high amounts of traffic.
Just a few weeks ago, Primeagen read a blog about how Cloudflare threatened an online casino with taking their sites down if they didn’t pay them 120k$ in a day.
It’s a better fork of SearX
I use my own self hosted SearXNG.
Funny how they benchmarked an ARM CPU and not a x64 one as if ARM CPUs are now faster than x64 ones.
When you tell specific numbers, the human life feels short.
Dioxus is indeed nice, however it feels too “bloated”. The WASM files are bigger than what Leptos produces and Dioxus is not just focused on web development but also desktop and mobile apps. I don’t need that. Leptos is good enough. I do plan on releasing a mobile app if this project gets significant interest, I’d probably do that in Kotlin so that the app is native and not web rendered.
Well, I haven’t really started building it yet. I do plan on using Leptos for an upcoming project I have.
Arch Linux
Gaming has not been a problem for me yet.
Proton works pretty good and games in Steam are starting to release builds for Linux as well because Steam Deck got popular (thanks Valve?) Minecraft Java also runs natively on Linux.
