This is only good news if it displaces thermal coal and gas generating stations.
It hasn’t before, why would it start now?

Yeah, well, the EEI is only moving in one direction after all.
Don’t worry, it’s far more optimistic about our situation than reality calls for.
Hmm. A dark aesthetic - but yes, I can appreciate the system for what it is (i.e., a uniquely inelegant monstrosity).
I find it funny that the US relies on this guy and SpaceX for their space program even as he is taking billion dollar loans from the SpaceX coffers. The entire program relies on a screwup not screwing up, basically.
I wonder if that’s how he gets away with half the shit he does.
I want to be happy that a state did something good today, but I’m unclear about whether 1. all cases were coerced, 2. all cases were as consented (at least as much as the economics of this world allows for), or 3. a mix of the two.
I’m honestly not very worried by what Cuba chooses to do, though, given their almost insignificant size. But I’ll cheer for it as much as it was against coercion. Heck I’ll cheer if it was a couple of capitalists trying to get rich quick. If it was people needing money to support their families though, I hope they find that support. I do prefer the idea of paying soldiers not to fight over the idea of paying them to fight.
lol
