USB Cable connection, power failing? Is drive set to power down on idle and then falling off the radar?

You can have mountains i n BC, you don’t need to live downtown Vancouver to see them. Lots of rural areas
Yes, especially If you are established in an area with a community. We moved across country East side to West side. You lose family, friends, and it is hard to reintegrate since people already have their own circles. Job changes or job hunting, plus costs of moving drain your accounts.
Could be because the decision to move and be accepted takes time and some of the biden moves were initiated by the trump presidency
Didn’t notice 10 Million payout? Meanwhile when CRA makes a mistake on their end and overpays my return by $100, they find the error in about 3 months and want it back with interest.
Metro Vancouver is by no means on par with Europe, lots of fraser valley sprawl, that is slowly being developed to be higher density, but transit is not too bad. The bus and skytrain are linked so I can travel 45km to work in 1.5 to 2 hours depending on which method I choose, while taking the car to work can be 1.25 to 1.5 hours due to traffic. New skytrain lines are being extended outward also.
It doesn’t really matter because there is not much content to train AI on in a worthwhile manner. The huge amount of content is mostly hostile retorts, and sarcastic meme banter. AI will be a mess after training on that
I don’t know any places still doing that
Wut? March through November is Daylight savings time. Rest is standard time without the adjustments. I wish the practise of DST shifting would get frozen though.
They are technically correct, Daylight savings end, standard time continues.
What are you fries cooked in?
Not restaurant, but Costco sells a large pack of Morning Star farms BlackBean Burgers, and they are delicious…too bad a fastfood place hasn’t picked these up for the menu
Organ transplants from homeless people has an odd aire to it. Like oops looks like another one didn’t get narcan, yay organs
Can confirm. I have an arm board from 2010 with 256MB of RAM. it hosts music fine through minidlna and still has memory and cpu free
I had something similar happen with a DVD iso. It would not copy across network, and cpu would skyrocket if I put it on drive another way. For mine it turned out to be the tracker-miner getting hung up on the content indexing. Specifically it was a DVD with a prank menu option. The menu option was “Break my player” which if you chose it would totally lock the DVD player and only fix was unplugging it for a hard power cycle. Somehow whatever code did that was messing with the content indexer
Or just going too fast. A lady near us thought you could just drive 100 around a corner rise because it is a Tesla. Car left the road and took out a lamp post. People just aren’t good drivers sometimes, and over estimate their skills. Lets not assume stuck pedal, until a real report comes out
Yep, cars speeding through don’t generate business. Doug Ford is just a giant douchbag
I wish my job allowed for masaive breeches of conduct where I could sit at home and enjoy free cheques…but I guess almost 0 incentive not to mess up on purpose
My one house purchased late 90s in Ontario came with notes and required signoff aknowledgement that it was in a designated flood plain. So flood plain awareness should not be new to people. (The home was on a raised pedistal foundation, so flood damage should have been minimal if it occured, and price was right)
Moving out west with huge topology changes meant I always checked flood plain maps before looking at realestate. Some friends of mine called me paranoid and had a good laugh about my efforts…but I think with all the atmospheric rivers and worldvwide flooding recently, they may now understand my madness.
Hopefully the one in BC gets closes also
