Yea there’s a major difference in “playing ball” because you have no choice and willingly contributing to the corrupt system.

I remember when instead of getting downvoted for having a slightly different opinion you’d get downvoted for the minorest of grammar/spelling mistakes.

Custom medals for an instance that admins/mods could give to accounts or posts would be cool, might be a way for admins to reward/push good content. Kind of like reddit mod awards except you don’t have to give money to a jagoff to do it.

Yea I think sync for Lemmy will be one of the big movers for people. Being able to use a different site but have it look and feel 99% the same makes that switch way easier.
