  • Oh I was making a joke, like you posted an ‘or’ comment & I replied Yes like it will do both. 😂 Good bike, blows your balls off.

I’ve been looking at Super73 for years as a CLASSIC styling, really handsome ebike. YouTube search for things like Survival ebike, ebike for preppers. Because you’ll tap into a whole community of people that want good & tough ebikes, not flimsy crap, ebikes that should be good relatively long-term. I trust Canadian Prepper; this video is a little older but information & considerations tend to be relevant years later.

I saw another prepper cheaping it with $700-800 ebikes, if I find it I’ll post name & link…

Anyway jokes aside I hope that helps. Idk your situation but I’d almost be tempted to wait just a few more years; pandemic/oil prices have pushed so many ebikes into the wild & that has brought about soooooo much real-world testing & consumer feedback. I’m thinking the ebikes just a few years from now will be so much better, and possibly for cheaper or the same price.

  • There’s the classic shower beer, and that’s actually really fun. Like others said, be careful & if you want to be extra cautious, aluminum cans only or poured into a stainless steel vessel.

When I was a fat little teen, I somehow heard the idea of eating potato chips in the shower. I tried it & it was oddly satisfying. They were Ruffles. I only did it once or twice total, it would be kind of weird to do all the time.

Shower beers, however…always a good idea.

  • It’s just a big, convoluted mix of factors that are hard to separate. Yes, there are far too many bad actors. But also people are getting paid more for the same job, and the value of the dollar has gone to shit. I believe compared to 2019, a dollar in 2019 is $1.18 now. 18% inflation.

Money printer go brrrrr. Everybody, everywhere, is making record breaking profits all the time. And then you’ve got employers blowing smoke up your bum, saying “You got a 15% raise, wowee zowie, you’re more than fairly compensated!” And it’s like nice try, jackass, a 15% raise doesn’t even keep up with inflation. 🙄

I am not in favor of bad actors, of course, but I know I’m paying a fuckton more than I used to pay for the same stuff. It’s just…built-in.

  • Recycle them. It’s a bound collection of cellulose (and some ink); cellulose can be upcycled into other paper products. Like insulation, attic blow-in, boxes, etc.

Trashing it is trashing a resource, which sounds worse than it is in reality. It’ll rot & decompose nicely in a landfill.

Burning books…SUCKS…take it from me like it takes FOREVER and it burns page by page, you have to stir it constantly.

Finding a recycling center is so much better for the world, and easier for you. Win-win.
