The Boys has stadily gone downhill, to the point S04 was outright tedious to watch, at least for me.
Fallot was really good, and I hope they dont ruin it.

Yup. Getting drunk ON a plane is great. Getting drunk BEFORE a plane is no bueno.
Ahaaa…yeah, i use Sync, and have made that mistake within the app a few times…
Sending an email saying you dont agree to a document you signed. That does not nullify the contract. If it actually went to court, it would get tossed and the original terms would be enforced.
Unfortunately, that strategy will never hold up in any court, but if it makes you feel better about the process, go for it.
To add to this, back that local hardrive up on a REMOVABLE drive, and keep it physically detached. We are all one lightning strike away from near total loss.
I found I had to block a large number of communities from my feed that were very narrow minded. Once I did some diligent editing, however, Lemmy has become my daily browse and I’m happy with the change. I still use reddit for some of the niche communities that don’t have a counterpart here, but the larger topics (news, memes, technology) are well covered and open to discourse.
Wouldn’t it require the same amount of energy to get airborn / propaget as any other powered aircraft? Because, like, physics…
Are we giving a murderer advice on how to dispose of a body?

This is not at all how the federal reserve and treasury department work.
The fed does create money, but not directly. They control the reserve rate, which determines how much banks can lend over backed deposits, which in turn affects the amount of currency (not just physical but also digital) in circulation.
They can also issue or absord treasury notes and bonds to impact money supply, though this is fairly small compared to the first method.
Lastly, the treasury can print physical, paper or coinage money. This called “fiat currency” by the way. This, however, accounts for an even smaller portion of the moneg supply than bonds.
In short, the government cannot, does not, and will not simply “create money from nowhere.”

Whaaaaaa?!
Probably the largest factor is cost of overhead.
What that means is, while the products themselves cost the stores the same amount to buy inventory, it costs them more to actually provide them to customers.
Rent is higher, both for retail space, and storage space. Labor is more expensive, because workers living in cities need higher wages to live. Transportation is more expensive, because railways and large trucks are more difficult (or impossible) to use in downtown areas. And lastly, the owners need to make more to live in these same conditions.
Currently android tablet with kindle app. Uses windows desktop to organize library (which the latest update forces you to do via cloud)
