Am I reading this right? The “tool” was magnetic letters and she was able to point at them by supporting her arm?
Who would believe that to be anything other than a ouija board for the living?
Back then, Halo felt like running 26.219 miles
“The problem is that for Russian developers, communication with the community, including the international one, and technical support are implemented through Discord,”
Well that’s their problem, isn’t it? It’s also a problem over here. Technical support regarding simple questions is fine, but any in-depth troubleshooting should honestly be done outside of Discord.
My Asus laptop draws (a maximum of) 200W as far as I can tell.
This is not my model but here’s the tech sheet for a different one: https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-a14-2024/techspec/
It’s a demo. If you hit the “learn more” button above it, the same link is posted under the button “download demo”
Edit: my client is acting up, putting my comment under the wrong parent comment

There are actually Boo Guys resembling Shy Guys: https://mario.fandom.com/wiki/Boo_Guy
I think this is one of those cases were thinking logically isn’t really going to solve anything. Nintendo does whatever, consistency be damned
Don’t you know? Science is only for those who subscribe to journalists.
I hate it when posts contain paywalled articles. What’s the fucking point in sharing?
I did not know that existed! Wiki link for those interested.
Apparently the recognition of handwriting was quite bad. I wonder how many still exist
Until a headset is as unobtrusive as a pair of eyeglasses it will not see mass appeal,
You mean like Google Glass? I don’t think that went anywhere either.
It would not be the first time they put out a massively expensive and wholly useless product decades ahead of its need.
Do you have any examples? Massively expensive is always the case, but I can’t think of a product that Apple launched that was decades ahead of its need.
Great list, pretty much my childhood. I’ll add some more:
I was sooooo salty when SC III went PS2 exclusive. I mean not really but I was pretty bummed back then. Until I got a PS2 to go with my GameCube and Xbox, at least.
Soul Calibur was one of the few fighting games I really enjoyed because of the different weapons and stats they could have. It really set it apart from the other fighting games back then like DBZ, Bloody Roar, Mortal Kombat, etc.
The intro cinematics were pretty epic for their time too!
What? People are just curious how they got a ban by the site admins instead of a subreddit. It takes a bit more to pull that off than just posting an unpopular opinion.
Great exhibit of Godwin’s law, though.
No, that was the temp ban. The perma ban had to do with a lost song thread
I should have been a bit more clear, I meant putting your phone on silent and still wanting to be able to call each other / ping each other to make a noise.
THAT use case is pretty rare.
That’s definitely another way to get the phone’s “voice” across! Glad it worked out for you. No more lost phones!
While that’s fine, that’s not exactly the intended use so that’s why you are running into problems as you can’t force volume to go up from another phone.
Start putting on DnD instead of lowering your ring volume to zero, and you can make it work.
If you don’t want to deviate from your out of the ordinary use case, then your best bet is some parental control app that allows you to view each other’s location.
Are you just reading what you want to read?
