Holy shit. OP surely delivered.
I disagree.
The more people are disappointed about reddit, the better.
The funny thing is, if you point out its mistakes, it often does better on subsequent attempts.
Or it get stuck in an endless loop of two different but wrong solutions.
Me: This is my system, version x. I want to achieve this.
ChatGpt: Here’s the solution.
Me: But this only works with Version y of given system, not x
ChatGpt: <Apology> Try this.
Me: This is using a method that never existed in the framework.
ChatGpt: <Apology> <Gives first solution again>
It would have print if it was previously declared as function.
Also, js is as dirty as you want it to be. Keywords are indeed not necessary for declaring variables.
The thing is, at first I actually, responded with “you are right”. See, humans make errors. Also, this isn’t a competence competition. (At least I hope so.)
Shoot, you are right wrong. They are processes.
Yeah, also each query request was a human beeing. Such an unrealistic comic.
You don’t “use” the domain for reverse proxy but a server. Where the server is located at matters. While you can get a domain and a server from the same hoster both still are different things.
Think of a telephone number (domain) and a phone (server).
What the heck did you just spew in the Lemmyverse, you little troublemaker? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in Lemmy School, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on toxic threads. Your toxic behavior is not something to be taken lightly. I’m trained in internet etiquette, and I’ve got the entire Lemmy community behind me. You think you can just hurl insults and spread negativity without consequences? Think again. As we speak, I’m contacting my secret network of moderators across the Lemmyverse, and your account is being traced right now, so you better prepare for the storm, pal. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your online presence. You’re toast, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can report you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my basic keyboard. Not only am I extensively trained in comment moderation, but I have access to the entire arsenal of Lemmy tools, and I will use them to their full extent to wipe your miserable comments off the face of the Lemmyverse, you little troublemaker. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your typing. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you dang fool. I will rain down reports all over you, and you will drown in the consequences. You’re out of the Lemmyverse, kiddo.
What do they call a quarter pounder with cheese there?
So, nodder would be a more appropriate term, got it.
Based on what? User agent? This wouldn’t be a reliable base to know who to charge. It’s all about the given API token. If it’s your own personal one (which it probably would be aber revancing the app), it is restricted anyways to x calls per month (day? IDK). If you reach that limit you simply won’t be able to fetch more data.
Buuuuuut: You would still be using reddit, which we all hopefully agreed not to do anymore, right?
RIGHT?
No, this is Patrick.
That’s quite a fair point.
I think the reason behind that is that it’s a new place and people are shy in new environments. Not only they behave more cautious but they lurk more (which leads to more lurking by others).
Did you get that you fucking moron?
I was all hyped until it said the wiki is in fucking discord.
