I’m assuming the Lemmy system is Bobby Tables proof here 😅

And no mention of ordering ; DROP TABLE orders;-- beers?
I was there on the Saturday. The final movement of the song was an almost religious experience. And that’s nothing to say of the song to conclude the set. The wave of “No way this is happening 🤩” that went through the audience was something special ❤️
My album to point people into it is Into The Electric Castle. But The Human Equation works as well.
Most domestic radiators are water radiators, from what I’ve gathered in a country where most houses are fitted with water based heating.
From what I’ve gathered, water based heating systems pump around hot water, not steam. Otherwise, the radiators, which are easily touchable by anyone, would be insanely hot, and thus a significant fire and injury risk.
In order to use them for cooling, I suppose you’re going to need a different transport medium, i.e. something like glycol instead of water. This would make the system harder and potentially a bit more dangerous to maintain, limits power when heating (water has higher specific heat than glycol), and you’re still stuck dealing with condensation at the radiators.
Using an air system for centralised cooling works. Using a water system is much more problematic.
Technology Connections? *checks link* yep, Technology Connections.
Possible counterpoint worth noting, that game has been breaking concurrent player records on steam for several days in a row, and the game has yet to release on consoles. So if it’s not the biggest game this year yet, it’s likely to happen in the nearby future.
Pretty sure if they updated this year’s entry today that it’d be taken over by Baldur’s Gate.
I go to Discord for very different reasons than to Lemmy/Reddit. Lemmy allows any arbitrary number of parallel dicussions on specific topics, the same cannot be said for what’s essentially a bundle of chat rooms.
The most notable explanation I can point to is that Apple’s iMessage, below the hood, functions a lot like WhatsApp or Signal, being an IP Texting/instant messaging service, and offering various advanced features that regular SMS and MMS do not support. To some this is important, and they may think less of Android users as a result of this.
It als does not help that for one, Apple does not want to publish iMessage to the Google Play store, and for two, that there is no general advanced messaging standard in widespread use, that is being enforced as the mandatory standard unless absolutely not available at both ends by phone carriers and/or governments. If there was, the technical side of this would not be a problem.
Same. I’m scaling down my Reddit use and preferring the use of Lemmy. So far, many of my main communities are still Reddit first, but that is decreasing ever more.
I guess it’s currently about 70/30 percent of my time split across these two, favouring Lemmy in spite of the fact that I’m not yet following all the communities that I want to follow.
NGL, Orphaniser or Orphanizer sounds like one hell of a metal band name
