The subreddit I was active on is still going strong, albeit with less interested mods. I think the impact of us leaving depends on the types of subs most lemmies used to be on. I don’t think anyone from the sub I was on left reddit.

Gravity is a function of both mass and distance, so maybe being 3% closer impacts the orbit?
The opposite is taking protons out of atoms, aka radioactive decay.
No, not TIL, you’re supposed to say QED 😋 just kidding
I legit thought this was a parody.
We live on! !streetwear@lemmy.world and discord
This deal will definitely be getting worse all the time.
Lemmy can’t afaik. Kbin is like Lemmy + Mastodon.
How do you follow someone on Mastodon from Lemmy? I’m not sure that’s possible. I see you’re a kbin user so it’s possible for you, but I don’t think Lemmy users can.
If Lemmy instances defederate from Threads, it’ll just be a symbolic message that the fediverse is anti corporate greed. A good precedent to set imo, but our actual experience probably won’t be impacted either way.
What really needs to happen is Mastodon defederating from Threads.
@rcmaehl@lemmy.world Did that work?
How? We don’t see Mastodon content in Lemmy unless they specifically tag a community or something. Why would it be different with Threads?
I think one reason for this is because it’s easier for a post to bubble up to “All > Hot” on Lemmy since there are less people and less posts here.
