Maybe they reuse the bags. Bag up 5th Street, salt it, collect the bags and prep 6th.

How would you like them to fund their providing you with this data?
Now, I’m a meat eater but man, that’s sad. A being calls for help. Another being hears it, musters the helpers, the helpers go to help, find the being, distraught at the forceful removal of her babies, and whelp, that’s farm life. Have a good day.
What short sighted idiots. Chopping down a tree to steal the fruit? Our species is its own Great Filter.
It’s a liquor store chain that I’ve seen in Florida and Virginia I think
Dude my bespoke couch is the bomb and the handmade futon? Pure. Luxury. Craft sofas are life changing.
How does this compare with recent trends of non alcoholic drinks coming out with alcoholic versions of their flagships? I’ve seen Mountain Dew and Arizona Tea drinks with alcohol in them at the ABC, which is really strange to me.
Thank you, that makes sense of it. I suppose I see why the US dropped the “g” in whinge and just went with whine. There’s a lot context in the differences, but they’re also so similar that things could be more confusing when made more specific, to the point where the two are used almost, but not quite, interchangeably.
So in TheBananaKing’s example of the dog wanting to go out, that’s actionable, because the dog can be let out, and would therefore actually be whinging and not whining?
I feel as though in the US these are seen as the same sort of behavior, though perhaps to different degrees. The dog may be whining to go out, and the teenager is whining about having to take out the dog. Very interesting, the differences that have cropped up in such a short time between our dialects. Have a nice day!
The article says this holly was ranked highly on a list of lost plants that scientists hope to rediscover. Does anyone happen to know why this particular species ranked so highly? I know many hollies have medicinal or edible properties, and many provide food for wildlife, especially birds. But does this one have anything particularly notable, like how Ilex vomitoria and Ilex paraguariensis contain caffeine?
No matter the answer, it’s very cool this was rediscovered

Hey fellow American. Yeah, sorry, we didn’t declare war as legally defined when we went over there. You shoulda probably checked.
Second comment: the thing about anarchy is we tried it. It was the natural state of things before Homo sapiens was very different from any other hominid. Bonobos may have an idyllic anarchist society but they have no defenses against those homo sapiens who show up and wreck shit. Maybe if the bonobos had organized.
No, some people will want to cooperate. But others will not. Bad actors will organize and ruin what’s built unless there are systems in place. The second you have systems it isn’t anarchy because somebody is making decisions for somebody else.
Both?
