My opinion is that Russia will keep a part of Ukraine, and there will be a tacit stop of the war. Noone says they won, noone surrender, a little bit like North and South Corea. Maybe Russia says internally that they have finished the nazis so the special operation is finished (so they ‘win’ officially to their people) but that they can’t leave Ukraine or they will come back.
The europeans are very worried about the war crossing countries. For the Americans it’s easier to say that because war is not at your door.
I don’t have a clear view of what’s better, but obviously we can’t let Russia win that war in the sense of conquering Ukraine.
I suppose at the end it will calm, and it will be more like a South Corea / North Corea cold war.
I don’t know why I thought about that but for younger people, Windows ME was Windows Millenium Edition.

It is a perfect example of why you still need good programmers, that know what/how to ask.
Data scientist who does not know that 18/37 means you lose.
It’s an insult, not racism. Just read the dictionary.
A web page is not easier to secure than a native app? Ok for you, that’s my experience.
A web page is more secure than an app, on theory. That’s because you can’t see the source code, tokens or whatever they use to build it. It’s called a ‘backend’.
However, an app is insecure by default so there is a lot of tricks that must be done to secure it (for example Oauth 2.0 flow with pkce). And the software they use to gather the data to show (APIs) must be built better.
So… why then? It’s all about having the means to deliver the experience that the bank wants.
Look at voyager app for Lemmy, for example. Why people want a iOS version when the PWA exists? Because it simply works better as a native app.
What is a normal temperature in those places with 37C?
Is it the same as https://m.lemmy.world or it has serious differences?
Voyager is what I use, a web app. You can use it as https://m.lemmy.world and is a very easy URL to remember. Moreover, at work the proxies filters do not block it!
In Spain absolutely everyone use whatsapp as the standard. Then, in families usually people use meesages, telegram or whatever.
