Hi! I’m British, I like music (grime, garage, hip-hop, R&B, and more!). I like art, culture, history, politics, & doomscrolling memes.
Also a touch of programming :)

An instance is just a way to access Lemmy. Lemmy.world, lemm.ee, sh.itjust.works, feddit.uk, etc - you can use any of these to access Lemmy and interact with, and see, all the same content.
It’s a problem because most communities are hosted on lemmy.world at the moment, but if lemmy.world ever dies they’ll die with it.
Lemmy.world is shitting the bed lately, Lemmyverse is not able to collect data from it.
open your browser and go to https://lemmyverse.net/communities?order=active&nsfw=null - is this not working for you?
Search bar in the top left, or scroll through.
Sync has search but it’s a bit limited. Use Lemmyverse instead :)
I rarely browse by c/All. A curated experience is better than a mishmash of everything imo.
Search for communities that interest you! It’s just like Reddit, once you curate your own experience you’ll enjoy it :) check out my list of casual/fun communities on Lemmy, or browse Lemmyverse for a list of all of them.
Block it

by “device” they mean phone, tv, or tablet.
4.8/5 on the apple store, Lol.
I’m 10 years, I haven’t left Reddit completely but I’ve definitely started using it significantly less
It’s the reason Wagner is in the region to begin with, and why Western militaries have a presence in the region. Definitely plays an important role in international interest as well.
The root cause of this is Islamic jihadism sprawling out of control across the Sahel. it’s causing a ton of instability and governments are struggling to withstand it.
Here in the UK, I can get 1GB up/down for about £30 ($38, or ₴1,434.60).
Yes, it but doesn’t integrate into qBittorrent like Jackett does. Jackett is more for manual searching, prowlarr integrates better with other *arr services.
Copying an older comment of mine,
Download qBittorrent. Download Jackett. Configure Jackett to work inside qBittorrent. You now have a way to search hundreds of trackers all at once within seconds and find literally anything you want.
already exists, !fediverselore@lemmy.ca and !lemmydrama@lemmy.world
there’s also !drama@lemmy.world or !drama@exploding-heads.com
Mind sharing the script?
It does come preinstalled with them, that’s the whole point of Jackett. You just need to enable them in the dashboard.
