I have lurked for ancient questions that needed to be asked, but I haven’t signed in since the exodus. It was like an abusive relationship searching for the good times with way more bad times. After a day or so of habit, I didn’t miss it all.

Nah, there were whole entire threads with me and a few bots over there. You can tell by a few things that they probably don’t know we can tell yet.

I’ve noticed voting manipulation, astro-turfing and bots here on the fediverse, but it’s not even close to how bad it is/was on reddit.

Right, I think you’re correct in what you said, but this thread is also propaganda in that it’s trying to sow division against Lemmy. Lemmy is going to get hit hard during the elections in the US and the trials of our former president because they can’t control the narrative as easily here. No one really cares if people stay, there are no advertisers to cater to, and you can’t troll (at least on lemmy.world). They’re trying to stoke everyone into being their worst selves so people leave or feel pushed out. It’s a solid propaganda technique against lemmy. I’m agreeing with you but adding on to it, but I also thought that’s what you meant.

How do you feel about Bernie Sanders where it’s a socialist democracy with capitalism? So medicaid, universal healthcare, unemployment, etc., are there and should be expanded to cover everyone?

Internet points matter even less here, I’m not sure why anyone would care except to maybe look at why they’re downvoting. I usually keep them up unless I’ve changed my mind because of it.
