I thought this was some big brain 4D metaphor. XD

The thing is they are mostly vegetarian. They don’t NEED to eat you, they just enjoy it.
It’s so over. What ever is the point of living anymore?
… if he isn’t a complete idiot…
Hmm… Lol.
On a serious note, a lot of people here seem to forget that any nuclear weapon hurts the entire planet and all of us in it. It is weird to see people who supposedly care about injustices suddenly go 100% in on devastating the ecosystem and mass murdering inocents (since you know, nuclear bombs are traditionally not used on military targets).
Same. Reading OPs list was like: “Wait is any of this becoming harder to pirate? At all?” Lol
Yeah, for sure let’s continue to 1up and glorify violence. While you do that, let me reiterate the point you seem to be arguing against:
More violence is not the solution to violence.
You can go on now.
Actually it’s because you killed thousands of innocent Japanese, using a weapon that could wipe all life on Earth. (So they moved other there of course, they sounds like a fascist dream)
This attitude is how we got into the genocide being committed by Israel. The solution to violence is not more violence.
You can definitely find glassed milk today, with returnable bottles and everything. It’s just 2x as expensive as regular queer milk.
Bro nature’s rights are enshrined in Ecuador’s constitution. But that doesn’t make money, does it?
Just hop on a public server and try to make some friends. If you join right after a wipe there will be lots of nakeds on the beach looking for fun.
From the article:
The UCP’s plan focuses exclusively on addictions and offers nothing to address permanent supportive housing, treatment wait times and wraparound services…
I mean yeah… Without addressing housing issues, health appointment wait times and social services, people will not use less drugs. I 100% agree with that. But these have nothing to do with the way services for addictions are provided. What is a social worker supposed to do about your housing, if rent prices are through the roof? Notice how none of these articles have any experts taking about the services being provided or actual evidence of their effectiveness (or lack thereof). It’s politically-aligned representatives, talking shit about the other side, without any rational arguments. They don’t give a shit about addicts, lol. They give ea shit about arguing with the other side and “winning”.
“Recovery model” is not the issue. Politicians are the issue.
You can lock someone in a room until their withdrawal passes…
No. You can’t. That is not what “recovery model” or work with addictions in modern day Canada looks like. Nobody is getting locked anywhere, people die if you do that because you can’t just stop cold turkey alcohol or opiates. Literally die.
Don’t get me wrong. There’s a lot of shit that needs to be fixed in mental health services, but ReCoVeRy MoDeL BaD is just a political slogan. So yeah. Maybe don’t take your mental health education from the guys that just want to stoke hate so they can get your vote.
Tell me more. (Not sarcastic)

Yeah bro, can’t even click on this proposal without holding Moscow. This is a wishlist.
The problem is harm reduction and/or decriminalization initiatives are only the first step (and unfortunately oftentimes the only step taken) needed to ease the drug cris. The follwing steps, often much harder, are oten left aside: Hiring (with appropriate pay) and training professionals to actually work with the people that attend these sites, financing housing-fiest programs, offering job orientation and trainings, etc, etc. You know, all the things you need to actually STOP using? Instead of just using safely.
Why would I stop using, if my choice is sleep on the street sober, or sleep on the street and maybe don’t wake up and be done with this shit?
Uhhh… Yeah. Sure. I wasn’t disagreeing, just highlighting it among the rest of the discussion.
The last line kind of implies that immigrants had an active part in keeping things afloat.
Agreed. Not a big fan of military in general, but NATO probably won’t go straight to nuclear genocide, as much as some people around here seem to want that.
