Yeah it’s not the worst idea in theory but implementation needs to be perfect. Even if they don’t allow token transfers I feel like this will make power users even more powerful without some kind of forced regulation. A repost bot could get the lion’s share of tokens and take over governance.

This type of Q&A interface is very popular and stealing traffic away from sites like Google and Stack Overflow. Stack Overflow can train it on their data and has a feature where it links to every answer it pulled from. I think that’s a nice feature and like that I can troubleshoot further on my own, as AI can often hallucinate an answer or lose a piece of context I need.

The incidents are mostly very old and hard to prove in court. This does not mean they lied, it means there is not enough physical evidence to convict.

We recently outlawed them in my city. Didn’t do anything. Everyone still uses them and no one enforces the ban. City next to us banned them years ago and I had no idea, same thing happened there. Continued use and no enforcement.
