Lol this wasn’t patched?
From this video it looks like they patched climbing down a invisible ladder, but I guess they never patched going up a invisible ladder.

Well… I’m glad I grabbed the translation patches for Metal Max two and three earlier this week.
Reddit has a warning for AI companies and other scrapers:

Fixed.
It’s so nice to see a developer doing this rather then going the “Here’s a updated version of the game! Also we’re removing access the originals so it’s the only version available now.” route.
Eh… I dunno. You’d be comparing the power consumption of the laser etching machine to the energy cost of shipping oil to make the plastic to make the label, shipping the raw plastic to a facility to actually print the labels, making the adhesive, then (probably) shipping the labels and adhesive to the packing plant and then adding in the power of the machinery to that actually sticks the label on.
I have no real numbers here but I could see zapping a avocado with a laser being the more energy efficient one.
Death to non-compostable produce stickers.
God I hate those. They constantly end up in the compost despite my best efforts. God only knows how many of them are part of the soil in my garden now.
Link works for me maybe they fixed it?
If you want to search for it yourself it’s “Live-attenuated virus vaccine defective in RNAi suppression induces rapid protection in neonatal and adult mice lacking mature B and T cells” by Gang Chen, Qingxia Han, Wan-Xiang Li, and Shou-Wei Ding
That opens up the possibility of vegan cheese, butter, etc. but as true dairy products.
There actually are vegan dairy-ish products out there. Several startups have inserted the gene for casein (the main protein in milk) into yeast. So you just harvest the casein, add a little bit of some sort of fat and sugar and you have something that’s 99% the same as milk, and can be used in the same sorts of processes.
The only product that I’ve actually tried was some Brave Robot ice cream, which was well… ice cream.
Two things really.
Tradition. Alcohol has a long history in European culture and by immigration the United States. It’s common to have a glass of wine or a beer with dinner, the rich will impress their friends with the extravagant alcohol they drink serve, you take a glass of wine at communion… heck at one point weak beers were drunk more than water, because at the time nobody knew what made water safe to drink but everyone could tell if beer smelled rotten.
Production. Marijuana is easy to grow, but it takes a lot of time and space to produce. Alcohol on the other hand you need something with sugar and some yeast or starter. It can be fermented in some corner of the basement or even a cupboard. It’s so hard to control the production of alcohol even in prisons there’s usually somebody fermenting pruno somewhere and that’s one of the most controlled and monitored environments. It’s really hard to prevent people from brewing some form of alcohol because it’s about as easy as making bread.
When you combine these two you end up with the disaster that occurred when the United States tried to ban alcohol during prohibition. An easy to produce intoxicant with a large market was suddenly banned, when people started looking for more organized crime stepped in to fill the void.
It still amazes me that there are people on Reddit who are upset about this but still keep using Reddit lol!
I’m not sure why you’d be amazed, I mean people are still using Twitter and that’s a thousand times worse than Reddit.
Then there is the whole investigation for 5 years. They did not found any evidence during this investigation but rather than admitting the fact that they fucked up and that everyone in the group is innocent, they are trying to argue that all the evidence have been hidden by the fact they encrypted everything.
Figured it was something like this. It sounds like one of those “The police know they fucked up and are now grasping at any straw they can find in an attempt to cover their asses” situations.
Um… Obama isn’t the king of drone strikes, the Trump administration surpassed the total number Obama era drone strikes in under two years IIRC.
You know, that’s honestly one of the better photos of Trump I’ve seen. He looks angry and… conniving I guess, rather than his normal “pompous blob of butterscotch pudding” look.
Let Reddit Digg their own grave.
Okay, that got a chuckle out of me.
I bet they’re angling to sell data for AI training.
Two of my favorite meats. If I could get some cheap-ish I’d definitely try it. However, nobody sells it locally and all online retailers want around $30 a pound, so that’s not happening.
As a Counterpoint: ostriches are birds, are close to some dinosaurs in form and they have red meat.
So are ostriches and their meat looks like this (image stolen from American Ostrich Farms)
I do that, too.
However I’m convinced that Youtube still has a “suggest list” bound to IP addresses. Quite often I’ll have videos that other people in my household have watched suggested to me. While some of it can be explained by similar interests, but it happens a suspiciously often.
Hmm… in my case the oldest game I’ve been playing recently is a fan translation of “Metal Max Returns” a 1995 SNES remake of a 1991 Famicom game.
