Liftoff, another Lemmy app, allows you to. I have it installed and use it when I need to edit my post. I use Memmy primarily though.
Those two are my favorite, but I struggled swiping back with Voyager sometimes. I’ll accidentally up or downvote when I’m meaning to go back. So I’ve been using Memmy. Memmy feels snappier too and I like that I can see the instance people/posts are from.
I don’t utilize to mark read on scrolling, but if I did, I’d for sure use Voyager.
So many great apps to choose from!
You can disable the bottom left one. I do since they’re redundant, like you said, and I also prefer the swipe gestures.
Artemis and Voyager already taken by other Lemmy/Kbin apps unfortunately.
Haven’t checked to see if these are used by other apps, but here are some suggestions:
I bet! I do very light .NET scripting for my job and I think developers like yourself are wizards. We appreciate all you and gkd are doing.
One of the devs already working on it. Check GitHub, here.
You have to reply to them, mark as read by long swiping from right to left, or clicking the envelope in top right.
Am I in the minority in liking it? Maybe a toggle to show/hide it.
I’m assuming you don’t want the swipe actions, correct? The comment buttons in bottom right can be disabled, but as you mentioned the functionality isn’t baked into the things you described. Only swiping.
Profile —> Settings —> Content —> Comments —> show comment actions.
Delete app and reinstall. I’ve seen a few others say that fixed the issues you’re describing.
Click post (to where you can see comments), then image (to make image full screen), then share?
If that doesn’t work, hope they fix it soon.
Second. Like the idea. Here is how wefwef/Voyager does it.
Ability to sort by subscriber count too would be nice.
Make sure “Read On Vote” is enabled then go to:
Profile —> Settings —> Content —> “Hide Read Posts On Feed”
Note: I am using the Test Flight version. Also, you have to refresh your feed or use the “eye” in lower right to remove them.
Test: Liaizon.
happy to help! Hope they fix the bug. I submitted to GitHub, but saw someone else did as well so I closed mine.
More info: if I refresh the feed, all of the images I clicked on are marked as read.
