I like cake.
Feedbro, it’s a browser extension.
I‘m using a RSS reader with rule based filters to remove uninteresting articles (to me) and upvote or downvote articles with certain keywords (for me). That way I can aggregate lots of media and have my own personal feed.
It takes some time to set up and fine-tune, though.
The distinctions get blurry if you’re the sole user.
I‘m using DataGrip (IntelliJ) for any manual SQL tomfoolery. I have been where you are. Luckily for me, the tool asks for additional confirmation when doing any update/delete without where clause.
Also, backups are a must, for all the right reasons and for any project.
I have yet to find an LLM that can summarize a text without errors. I already mentioned this in another post a few days back, but Google‘s new search preview is driving me mad with all the hidden factual errors. They make me click only to realize that the LLM told me what I wanted to find, not what is there (wrong names, wrong dates, etc.).
I greatly prefer the old excerpt summaries over the new imaginary ones (they‘re currently A/B testing).
Pretty sure your injuries or disabilities would be covered for work related injuries in Europe. But other than that I agree, especially on a personal level.
For comparison: Average gross income in Spain is €2,250 (net €1,785). Minimum wage in Spain is €1,260. Cost of living for a single with a moderate income is roughly at €1,750.
Spain has a high unemployment rate, currently. Especially the youth.
This is a good opportunity to mention a pet-peeve of mine:
This last one is an etymological false friend. “Deutsch” derives from thiutisk (þeudisk) and in the Western Franconian and Germanic tongues it meant “our people”. It’s derived from the Indo-European term thiuda (Þiuda).
RWE has no conscience left at all (doubt they ever had one). Coal is scheduled to be faded out by 2030 (recently rescheduled from 2038) and I do wonder if there really was no other option than to demolish those 8 windmills (and the nearby village).
That being said: This is a singular incident caused by long-time contracts of the fading industry. It’s not some paradigm shift in Germany. Coal will be gone soon and new windmills will be build.
I never claimed that WSJ is propaganda. What OP is doing is, though.
Limiting how much one single person can define the narrativ of a forum with clear rules might be a more sensible approach instead of removing posts based on content. Please have a look at the situation: Roughly 40 negative posts about Ukraine/US/NATO in just the last week (and very little else) on a newish account certainly makes me think OP is pushing his agenda, not regularly participating in a forum.
I didn’t say or imply any of these three things you misquote me on.
No, I‘m saying what I said. Please read and comprehend.
There will always be people like you and I do not fault you, personally. But it is proof that this forum needs better moderation and rules to deal with false balance.
Flooding this forum with your deliberate selection of only news that fit your narrative is propaganda. It creates a false balance that is not part of the original individual sources.
If anyone is in doubt, just check his post history.
Why is my feed full of propaganda by @CollisionResistance for the last few days? Is there no moderation here?
I cannot confirm this for Germany. Here they especially try to get „gamers“ to sign up and therefor label most ads in pseudo youth and gamer speech, even puns. Their official slogan currently is „Wir schützen Deutschland“ (We Protect Germany). I like how hilariously descriptive and simple this is, considering how much marketing money probably went into that slogan.
What a weird rambling. Do you really believe this? That is one weird-ass list of made-up bullshit and obvious misquotes.
I almost hope that you get payed for this, because if you’re really gullible enough to actually believe these lies, oh my…
I think he wants to go back to the Russian Empire. At least that is what he himself is referring to again and again in his pseudo-historical ramblings. He cherry-picks from history whatever suits him and his imperialistic goals.
He drove me back into using RSS after more than a decade for staying up to date. Much better for the mental health. Thankfully, since Wordpress and also some other CMS have the RSS feature enabled by default, many websites have it even if they’re not advertising it.
