Of course it is. A single dumbbell can help you get fit at home. This has a pretty wide range of capabilities, so you’re good in that regard. You’re probably going to want some help developing a program that works for you.

LMFAO
That doesn’t change the fact that the very concept doesn’t allow time for recovery, which is counterproductive at best and actively harmful at worst.
This seems like an irresponsible and unsafe amount of lifting. Am I missing something?
I don’t think anyone with half a brain is earnestly concerned about lower birthrates. Humanity isn’t going to disappear off the face of the planet just because birthrates dipped for a bit. These things have a tendency to correct themselves and people aren’t going to stop having sex.
He’s literally trolling. Chaos in the West in any form only benefits Putin.
Maybe just leave these indigenous peoples alone?
You’re not wrong. The mass proliferation of listacles with the same 5 advertised products stamped behind a novella of filler to appease SEO algorithms has been increasingly problematic for at least 10 years now. The issue has only been compounded with the flood of “AI” generated content and deceptive ads. I almost prefer when every website had sidebars full of blatant advertisements. Sure they were ever present, but they weren’t trying to literally trick you into buying something.
You convince anyone to take away my wireless earbuds and I’ll hunt you down.
What incentive does Google have to even put up a fight? Worse results = more time searching = more “traffic” = more ad revenue. It’s not like they really have to worry about search engine competitors. Please do not try to recommend DDG to me. It is just a different flavor of garbage.
Damn straight. I tried out Jerboa and was so disappointed that until Lemmy Sync was announced I just assumed I would no longer have a Reddit style app for a while.
Also, if we’re being frank, DDG’s results are damn near useless half the time.
It’s like the opposite end of the SEO spectrum. Whereas Google just anchors onto certain keywords to regurgitate the same 4 listacles, DDG just sees your input for “my lawnmower won’t start” and responds with “lawnmower huh? I dunno here’s the history of John Deere or some shit, fuck off”.
Woof, no thank you. WOW consumed so much of my time back in those days. I can still look back on it all with fondness. The couple of times I have peeked behind the curtain since then have only made me sad.
I couldn’t speak to this specific machine and machines aren’t really my wheelhouse but a couple of great guys to follow on YouTube are Mike Israetel of Renaissance Periodization and Jeff Nippard. Both are really knowledgeable and speak in language that a layman can understand. Jeff is all about natural growth through “science-based exercise”. Ignore Mike’s nonsense or enjoy it, it’s mostly put on. He is extremely knowledgeable and cuts through a lot of the bullshit and mysticism around hypertrophy based lifting and physical fitness. From there you could probably find a basic 3 day program centered around machines.
Edit: I should also say, beyond being safe, the most important thing is consistency. Pick a schedule that actually works for you, at least 2 but ideally 3 days per week, and do that every week and in 6 months you’ll see noticeable results. The individual lifts matter much less for beginners.
