starts at 53:30. the whole episode makes it, but the guy’s whole schtick is that he doesn’t believe in ghosts, and he spends most of the episode talking about how they’re a load of crap.

i assumed there was a doggy door. ;)
a dog. endless entertainment and snuggles.
i don’t remember it exactly, but i remember really, really loving the final scene in the first episode of the haunting of hill house. that episode remains one of my favorite episodes of tv, since i think it stand alone well even without the rest of the series.
Jericho
a series that died too young. 🥲
if she’s cleared for an agility career, she’s gonna be a foster fail. 😅
good. i found a ton of these nasty little things in my backyard when i moved into my current house. the house was (no surprise) previously occupied by a bunch of undergrads.
that is what they’re doing.
“These are the vapes that have pink unicorns on them, bubblegum flavouring, disguised in order for them to hide them in their pencil cases,” Butler told a news conference.
To ensure the bans don’t limit access for smokers looking to quit, doctors and nurses will be given expanded powers in January to prescribe therapeutic vapes where clinically appropriate.
But therapeutic vapes will be restricted from using flavours, have limited nicotine levels and be sold in pharmaceutical packaging under new rules to be introduced next year, with a transition period for manufacturers to comply.
from what i understand, vaping is much easier to get into due to the taste/smell. so neither is good for anyone, but cigarettes are seen as gross and the companies that make vaping products have tricked teens into thinking that they’re safe.
the witch is my personal favorite. i’ve heard it’s one of the most period-accurate movies of that era. the ending can be seen as good or bad for the protagonist. it’s slow and atmospheric which is my favorite kind of horror.
runner up: lamb is so bizarre and i went into it knowing absolutely nothing. very rewatchable!
my current vacuum is going on 11 years. pretty proud of that $200 purchase. i’ve had 2-3 dogs at any given time, and this thing is a champ.
dog sports and crochet/knitting. i spend about $200/month on agility lessons, plus entry fees. good yarn is not cheap.
i still use mybb to run a writing forum that’s been ongoing for 10+ years. :)
i don’t use calm, but another meditation app (balance). my favorite meditations are the ones meant to be done right before going to sleep. i set them playing, put my phone on the charger, and drift off to somebody’s pleasant voice guiding me to sleep. i’m sure calm has a sleep section, so take a look at that and see if it works for you. :)
i guess it’ll be my birthday present to myself.
serious: i love truck stop egg salad sandwiches. don’t tempt me!
both clever and not scraping and saving usernames to some mass database (as far as i can tell).
i went straight to a therapist who specializes in it. she chatted with me about my symptoms, lifestyle, childhood, etc. i’m going to get tested for it on wednesday, then decide if i want to get on meds for it if things come back the way i suspect they will.
on apple devices: play.
