The tint sucks because it tints the widgets too. I use the dark icons. The new control center is like a bootleg chinese phone. I would expect better keyboard language understanding and more fluid gestures for ease of use (still struggling with opening control center after using Samsung’s one hand operation)
That’s 13 thousand million dollars. Unpaid tax. Let that number sink in.

I dont understand why third party apps don’t work with reddit. If the official app can work fine, surely an app that mimics the official one with the API requests should work, no?
Why Chromium based browsers? I understand using Chrome might help Google, but how does using other browsers based on Chromium help them? By increasing market share?
I’ve used tons of different phones (both Android and iOS) and although I always defended Android in almost every past conversation, I ended up using an iPhone, here’s why:
TL;DR Every phone is the same, Android in general is faster for getting things done, and although iOS is limited, it gets done whatever it can get done with no issues. It’s a matter of who you want to give your data to and I think we all know Google’s not to be trusted.
With this approach every purchase is a gamble
The issue with VR headsets is the bulkiness. I have not tried the VP myself, but having used VR a lot in the past, the tech just isn’t there yet. Imagine carrying a mac mini on your head because currently it’s exactly that.
Honestly, I don’t even think about the creators, because YouTube should be the one paying them, not me.
Obviously, but lately YouTube and music has sucked so much that I don’t think it’s worth paying for. The recommendation engine has been very bad and I only use it for a specific purpose so it’s not worth it anymore in my opinion.
How did you manage to do this? I tried it with other countries but had no luck, plus I don’t have any payment methods there lol
This is the issue though. I subscribed to chatgpt plus hoping it would do the work for me, but chatgpt (although it understands a lot) still fails to tell me what I need by ‘browsing the web’. I also tried every other known search engine out there but sadly the results are very similar (ddg, bing). So I feel like I’m trapped in a loop where I can’t get out.
Sadly this is how I feel too. Everything is trying to squeeze a dime out of my eyes. Man I don’t even buy shit unless I absolutely need it.
I think you can filter out Quora results using uBlock, but you need to Google it so, good luck haha
I’ve seen a few people mention exactly what you said, so either it’s Google A/B testing some dumb shit, or it’s because you haven’t been using Google the same way I have in the past. I don’t just look for information that is objective, few years back, Google was very good at providing links to articles with steps to do X. Nowadays it always redirects me to sites where words related to X are mentioned the most, rather than providing useful information.
This ain’t just Google. SEO effectively killed all search engines. As an IT guy who’s been googling shit before I was 10, I can’t find shit anymore.
Most apps offer basic features for free, but the truly useful features are always behind a paywall with Apple products. This is the case with iOS too and you can’t deny that. Whether it’s games, apps or basic features like dark mode for browsers. Like why do I gotta pay for dark mode in Safari in 2024? Bruh.
Well people had other people’s photos popping up in their own photos app. So not sure how they handle ‘encryption’. But it’s best to treat all photos uploaded to cloud as public, because that’s likely how it is. Can’t trust Google, Amazon or Apple with your data when they can and are making so much money off of it.
I thought the S stood for Standard 💀
