Depends on what upload speed your internet has.
Every server is under the total control of it’s admin while moderators are self-assigned to communities by the users that created them. It’s literally the exact same structure as on reddit.
The only difference is that there only is a single reddit server with a single set of admins, while lemmy has many instances.
So yes, everything you mentioned is basically the same on both platforms. The only difference on lemmy being that when you piss off the admins and get banned you can go to another instance.
But it was. It’s literally the exact same hierarchy of roles. So no, I don’t know what you mean.
moderators come under admins and that wasn’t a thing on reddit.
That is exactly how it was on reddit.
Huh? My 2019 mbp can do that, without display link.

One small enough to destroy a small country is enough to destroy the world.
Not really. You could blow up all of Lichtenstein with 2x 350kt explosions. Definitly not world ending.
Probably depends on how much aid the country get’s to rebuild. I assume most people would want to go back if that was an option. But if that’s not a viable one, they will get refugee status elsewhere and settle there.

Yeah, that’s how power adapters usually work. Thanks.
I really don’t know much it’s actually using but my NAS has a 550W power adapter …
My only gripe(s): only 2 USB ports
I have a DS2422+ and even that only has 2 USB ports. But you can expand them with a USB-hub. I had 5 external drives connected over a single port without issues.
Synology’s limited list of “approved” HDDs.
You can use this script and put it as a scheudeled task “on boot”. It will automatically add all your harddrives to the list of verified drives, disabling all warnings and errors with it.
Jellyfin has even less features.
Nope.
I don’t think so.
There is an option for the % of the episode you need to watch for it to be considered “watched”, but the lowest it goes is to 70%. Maybe you could edit the config to set it to a lower value. But of course that would mess up shows you actually want to partially watch and resume later.
At this point I’d be happy with a medicore tracker that has any German content.
