Nothing outside the LAN. Just Tailscale installed on my Synology NAS, on HomeAssistant and on all my machines.

I use Downie (on Mac) but there’s a video downloader app for every platform. It doesn’t download the ads either 😉

When windows steal focus in macOS. If I am opening an app it should be able to open in the background while I do something else. Same with a “file copy” dialog in Finder. So many apps and windows repeatedly steal focus and push themselves to the top and it’s so frustrating.

I think they are great if it’s about 40% talk and 60% socialize. The point of talks should be to stimulate a conversation that happens in the hallway. If it’s just one way content absorption, that could’ve been done remotely. 

I desperately miss the networking and socializing and the people I met and the interesting conversations that I could not have planned for. I hope eventually my company starts sending us again.

It will most certainly use local models. (Locally tuned from a common base model) That’s kind of their whole differentiator.

I’m at 91% after a year. I work it hard tho, draining and charging twice a day, lots of tethering and heat. I have no issue with it.

Tried a Yubikey but it felt brittle. Like one software update would break it and then I’d be locked out. So sticking with passkey based for now.
