Thanks! I had to open in new browser to get it to load. Wow!
3D characters and a free behind the shoulder camera. The game looks great!

Ah so maybe I’m just reading the article too closely, as it says full 3D for the game’s fields and towns, and doesn’t mention the character models.
Trails FC was a fun game. I’m working my way through Second Chapter now. The PC release came out 2004 in Japan and 2014 in the US so idk how “retro” it is. Also the original PC release was already in 3D, so I’m not sure why the author is stressing that the remake is in 3D. Am I missing something?
As an aside, does this author always write random words in bold in all their articles ? 🤣
Awesome! It seems like one of the cheapest ways to improve communities and education outcomes.
When something is available DRM-free on GOG I don’t scrutinize it so closely.
There’s a lovely series called Mysty. Part of a YouTube channel that I originally found because the guy is stumbling through creating his own 3D graphics engine.
In Mysty he plays a lot of the old Myst-like games, many I’d never heard of. It’s funny and worth checking out. He has played the first two Journeyman games so far. https://youtube.com/@notthefuture1881
I was there weird kid in high school that had a Mac but still liked playing computer games. My band teacher lent me his copy. It was the first point and click adventure game I actually finished!
Firefox fan here, this is awesome! Now Apple please let us use a real web browser in iOS, pretty please? Not just embedding a webkit view and calling it Firefox.
Incredible stuff I hope we continue to work on cracking this nut. It feels like we’ve made rapid progress ever since I heard about how half of our serotonin is made in our gut.
My friend, I think you need to join us indie gamers, especially on PC. DRM free, minimal updates, small installs, high novelty and weirdness factors. I barely play anything “AAA” anymore and definitely nothing that does Games as a Service.
I can hear this image.
What an epic sound. Unrivaled by anything before or since.
I had to check and yes it is indeed a British game. The humor was a dead giveaway. In fact, this game was DMA Design aka Rockstar North, of Lemmings and Shadow of the Beast fame.
Something about the pacing and presentation makes it feel like being in a sci Fi movie in a way very few games have done for me.
If it works it isn’t stupid.
What benefit is there for Russia for this to be a ruse?
Peach is a slow runner and it takes her a long time to pick up an object.
They probably won’t do that. Just like NY didn’t. Or did you read something somewhere that I haven’t seen yet.
They had too much fun writing that headline.
Deadly poison mushrooms, not what people normally refer to as “shrooms”, i.e. psychedelic mushrooms.
PBS Spacetime was very different in its early days I guess!
