I have to set literally everything up again on a new microSD for my Pi because the apt-get repositories no longer support the Raspbian version I’m on. I’m not mad; good for security to update, but I don’t have half a day free anytime soon for it.

I use self-hosting for home assistant and jellyfin (behind two duckdns domains). I started to add more (Joplin server, Immich, tiny tiny RSS etc.) and found my workload increasing a lot, So I’ve paused that effort for now. For Joplin, I use syncthing with my Pi as a hub instead, which is much simpler.
Most of the streaming sites are serving ads from the same subdomain these days. I think Paramount might still be separate? But causes issues when you try to log in as well, so have to pause Pihole to log in. Then ads are (sometimes) blocked :)
They got their start on HSW, but I believe the podcast division is now separate, owned by iHeart?
It’s interesting because they justify it by saying it’s for compliance (eg, because logged out users haven’t answered affirmatively that they’re over 18). Gives them cover when we all know the real reason they’re locking it down

Generally, salmon have a certain amount of variance in the location they migrate to. A certain percentage of the population varies from the birth location and tries new places. This is probably an adaptation that provides the larger population with greater resilience!
