  • This woman died only because she was honest with her doctor about her alcohol use

No, and it even says so in the article

She quit about 5 months before her death when transplants require 6-12 months of sobriety. She was drinking regularly with the fucked up liver before that diagnosis, and liver damage isn’t something that just suddenly appears.

She kept drinking despite what would have been intense cramping pain and a slow death, thats why she was denied (addiction) and ultimately died

Note that the article says her partner was a compatible donor but the system refused to accept him because she used alcohol

And as the article also says it’s incredibly dangerous for someone to get a live-donor transplant when they’re in bad shape like she was, as failure of that means they’ll need to let her die on-table or transplant a good dead one into her (which she was denied for, due to her drinking)

It’s sad, but this woman died to alcohol abuse, pure and simple

  • I just finished reconfigging my whole old server into it’s new modern form and set it up so that at either ratio > 2 or 1 month of no seeding has passed

So far my overall ratio is fucking .78 because apparently nobody wants to download the shit I’ve got seeding other than me :'(

(Tbf it’s mostly old obscure shit rn cuz I’m catching up on more obscure releases of movies n shit this month, but that was maybe a dumb idea right after completely overhauling my setup and tracking my ratios now lol)

  • So how would a cop catch up to someone who bypass their limiter?

They don’t, there’s no need. They get the person’s plate info and send the fine after the fact. They can also come impound the vehicle, as well. Dangerous chase: avoided.

Or respond to hostage situation in a timely manner?

They can have a special vehicle at the station that doesn’t have the limiter for extremely specific situations like that. Only specially trained officers can use it.

Or get to another unit who needs assistance?

Normal speeds. They shouldn’t be allowed to endanger people not even near an incident to get somewhere because another cop is “”“in danger”“”

I think it would just be better to fire cops who abuse their power.

I think it would just be better to not give cops the chance to abuse their power in the first place since that injures and kills people
