I thought discord streaming was so dumb until I was trying to reach my friend something in a game. Now we use it a couple times per month, it’s great. I hate that I like Discord lol

Judge: for the charge of first degree murder, we find the defendant guilty
Me: ok Google, set a timer for 10 years
Ekans made me cackle
This was not worth posting
Copilot may be a stupid LLM but the human in the screenshot used an apostrophe to pluralize which, in my opinion, is an even more egregious offense.
It’s incorrect to pluralizing letters, numbers, acronyms, or decades with apostrophes in English. I will now pass the pedant stick to the next person in line.
That’s why they need money…
You can — and should — give crows money. They need it
Someone else commented the likely answer - the way reddit cuts off comments and suggests random “related” posts regardless of age. Then, of course, are the bots
I love that guy. He seems like the nicest person on all of YouTube
Interesting…this seems like the most likely reason. They DO seem like real people but I’ve been fooled before
Huh, I never knew such a service existed. That would make some sense!
That definitely sounds like a bot. The ones I’ve been getting have mostly been about games I used to play…
The most obvious bot I got was “giving their opinion” on a change to a character that got a new ability with a patch…the character was redesigned at least once since I made the initial comment
I get it but it’s still disheartening to hear. Reddit was a fantastic place for answers…sometimes the only solution to a problem is a comment from 2018
I’ll just conference call and group text pictures, good idea. I’ll also ask the acquaintances I’ve met on Twitter to pass me their phone numbers - I’m sure they’ll be OK with that! Especially at 2am when I think of a silly joke.
If there’s anyone left to ask, that is. EVERYONE left already.
Everyone knows that.
Hyperbole would be saying that everyone left when it was only 70% of people…but it’s probably more like 10-20% - the Twitter exodus was even smaller than the Reddit exodus. It’s incredibly easy to avoid the bots and Nazis if you use Twitter to interact with friends
Why haven’t you?
Because it’s completely untrue that “everyone else has left.”
Because it’s not that good? A reviewer I like said it felt like the first couple episodes of a TV show stitched together with not much of an ending beyond setting up the planned sequels
This would be more suited for asklemmy, this community isn’t for opinion discussions
Here I was thinking it was childhood depression that creates comedians but it was fetal alcohol syndrome all along
