Piracy is not stealing. Piracy affects artists.
These two statements can and do coexist.
It’s all good, I was just making a joke.
But thanks for fixing!! :)
The irony of not linking to old Reddit…
I buy devices like Apple TV to replace the built in shitty smart tv functionality on smart tvs. I do not want ads so I do not connect my tv to the internet, and instead connect my streaming box.
Unfortunately many of these platforms treat a block as an interaction.
There is no way to ignore these posts without triggering an interaction.
As others said, it is truly the goal of these sites to make you angry.
The same person that asked you to respond with this nonsense.
Millennial Americans will cook, if it isnt too complicated.
GenZ Americans won’t cook unless it is putting something in the microwave.
This is the real answer. Stop using Google search.
Don’t use BodyFit by bodybuilding.com.
Their developers are completely incompetent and break the app haphazardly. Earlier this year, they broke the ability to login. So you could not use the app at all.
Do not use BodyFit. Yes, I’m salty that it broke between two sets and my workout was ruined for the day and then also for the week.
I just started using this after BodyFit broke login for a month.
So far, I’m liking it a lot.
Definitely a good idea if you are able. For people that have long commutes requiring driving on a freeway, it is probably not an option.
Bikes are great! I ride mine as often as possible, but many trips are not possible with bikes, in the US.
Simple answer, unit tests.
The answer, as with everything in software development, is that it depends.
A god method with 100 optional params that is usually bad practice. But a common pattern is to allow for an options object to be passed, and that object may contain 0-n supported parameters. This pattern is used everywhere, see graphql as a widely used library that is based on this.
subs will get about three to four hours of thousands of updoots and comments and then get nuked by the mods
This was a tactic made common by Gallowboob. He would do this on every major sub he moderated, but with even more nastiness.
He’s post, wait to see if it got enough upvotes, if it did not he’d delete and repost. Constantly. Until his posts got to the top.
He did this across many of the largest subredddits and turned it into a paid job where he’d advertise for others using this same patterns.
Even worse, he’d delete others posts if they were doing too well too quickly and repost as his own.
Dude is one of the pillars of what destroyed Reddit.
Same.
While I wasn’t some power user, I did have many comments with 1k or more votes.
Reddits decision to first destroy the UX of Reddit and then destroy the best Reddit apps made my decision to delete everything very easy.
When this happens on a topic with which you have expert level knowledge, it is so blindingly obvious and eye opening just how wrong every other conversation may be. It strongly suggests having a highly critical eye on any topic.
Because I knew someone would take the bait. The saudis did it is another conspiracy theory from the time.
The conspiracy theories around 9/11 are almost as numerous and as fun to play with as JFK assassination.
More likely, they’ve been doing this for many years and it is basically obsolete, so they are spilling the beans now.
Or not and we really are doomed.
