I enjoy modding stuff in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I often make use that various non-windows package managers allow removing things in bulk.
Note to self: it’s for Windows.

Maybe Vim so noone quits it by accident.
I bought both my parents new old machines now that they retired, and I opted for a T480 for both. They’ve been called The Last Great ThinkPad over on r/thinkpad since they are both powerful - first generation with a quad-core processor - and nicely upgradable. The upgradeability also means that you don’t have to worry overly about the amount of RAM a used model has: you can always add more cheaply (and very easily).
Ah, so it’s a prisoner’s dilemma, kinda thing.
Why is half the info on the image some random smiling face?
Condorcet sobs “so close”.
I’m fully keyboard driven in my current editor, the issue is not that. It’s that the symbols I type show up with a noticeable delay. It’s like IRL lag.
But Lemmy is, so it’s still a relevant answer, no?
If I asked “What word processors can Libre Office Writer collaborate with?”, would Microsoft Word be an off-topic answer?
Sync followed by Jerboa, for me.
If the refresh rate is not higher than the the Onyx Boox Max, then it’s not even good for office work - for me at least, a visible delay between key press and sign showing up is a show stopper.
I have a Onyx Boox Max, an A4 b/w e-ink device. I can’t use that as a screen, due to too low refresh rate. Writing on it with it’s pen is great, but typing on it is horrible. The slight delay breaks the usability.
I don’t know how that stacks against the remarkable 2.
I like it. I also come from Atom, and I found it pretty easy to set up for my perhaps simple needs. What I really, really wanted was to continue using the Hydrogen package, and that succeeded.
Sure you can. That’s why a UV lamp shining at the six 20% solar panels that power it can run your FTL drive.
Nice info. Thanks!
