You don’t need to develop a callous to gruesome scenes if you don’t cause gruesome scenes.

Don’t conflate cops with EMTs. The job of EMTs is to save lives.

If they want to make it fair, they should pay reparations to the descendants of enslaved people and/or take back the money they gave to slaveowners.
1·1 year agoI haven’t tried thrive in a while. I hear they’ve switched engines again, to Godot this time. Is it playable? Is it fun? Do they have more than the single-cell phase?
36·1 year agoThe men can only move 1 square in any direction, while women can move anywhere on their row/column/diagonal. Clearly this biological difference is why they have separate men’s and women’s chess tournaments. Also, I hear trans people can double jump.

8·1 year agoI haven’t heard of WireMin until now. Looking at their FAQs, they have a lot of promises and not much to back them up. There’s a lot of red flags here
- Closed source. It appears to be totally proprietary, so you can’t look at the source code to ensure that they aren’t lying about their product
- They will be introducing microtransactions into their chat app; likely using cryptocurrency.
- It’s full of web3 crypto nonsense. It seems to me the only real plan to fund development is to be bought out by a large investor in the future.

I’m not sure you are aware, but TypeScript is not the first language to compile to JavaScript.

Without TypeScript, people would have adopted a different JS transpiler, one that isn’t controlled by a monopolistic corporation with a history of extinguishing open source projects.
