  • (Chorus) Heave ho, Docker, and sail the binary sea, With containers all lined up, so light and free. From the code to the cloud, we’ll go with ease, In our trusty Docker ships, we sail the seas.

(Verse 1) Oh, the devs were a-struggling, in a stormy plight, With dependencies broken, things weren’t quite right. Then Docker sailed in, with a promise so bold, Of consistent environments, as good as gold.

(Chorus) Heave ho, Docker, and sail the binary sea, With containers all lined up, so light and free. From the code to the cloud, we’ll go with ease, In our trusty Docker ships, we sail the seas.

(Verse 2) We build and we ship, with our Docker compose, In our microservices, our confidence grows. With images light and containers so tight, We deploy in the morning, and sleep sound at night.

(Chorus) Heave ho, Docker, and sail the binary sea, With containers all lined up, so light and free. From the code to the cloud, we’ll go with ease, In our trusty Docker ships, we sail the seas.

  • This is what I was hoping for. Something that an Android using friend of mine doesn’t grasp is that Apple adopting RCS with E2EE encryption as it’s implemented at the moment makes them beholden to Google. Google’s putting on a song and dance pretending to be the good guy in this situation but if that were true they would have developed E2EE in a way that was a part of the RCS standard instead of proprietary. In a weird turn of events; Apple committing to improving encryption for the RCS standard has turned this into a really good thing for everyone.

I never would have put this situation on my bingo card after years of Apple’s “Blue bubble vs green bubble” crap.

  • These are the sorts of features that I am always wholeheartedly on-board with. Ones that work in the background with little to no input that work when required to improve the user’s everyday lives.

After recently finding out that my mother knocked herself unconscious some time ago while she was alone and woke up after almost half an hour had past I’m tempted to buy her an Apple Watch for some peace of mind. To be clear, it’s not a small purchase for me just as a gift but she’s recently had a couple of falls as well so it’s getting concerning.

  • I’ve added a bit of extra context for the AoD unlock. Seems to be something to do with the screen activation animation timing.

Funnily I used to have a screen protector on the 12PM but haven’t gotten around to putting one on the 15PM. It could be that I was more forgiving to the 12PM with the protector as an excuse for non-registered inputs.
