Same. I would definitely be one of the people complaining if I wasn’t getting it for free.

Here here!
This is correct. Alphabetical Order is one of the fundamental laws of nature. A universal constant.
Where I live, people give zero fucks about which direction the spaces are aligned. Even with giant arrows painted on the lanes, they will drive down the wrong way every damn time. I will stop my car and wait for their dumb asses to back up the way they came before I move. I could honestly care less which way you go into a parking spot, but driving the wrong way on one way lanes drives me insane.
I left reddit but I also could not bring myself to straight up delete my account. That’s a lot of history to just erase.
Silo was really good! Can’t wait for season 2. I got hot for downloading Pretty In Pink for my wife. Hahaha!
Awesome! Seems like none of this is too difficult. I was also looking at Plex but I decided to go with Jellyfin because it’s FOSS.
Thanks!
Thanks. I’ll consider that. I used to run Ubuntu on a laptop but it’s been years since I’ve done anything with Linux.
Also…I’m wondering about that guide you linked for setting up Chromecast, because the Android app has a chromecast button on it. That guide says “Chromecast requires that HTTP traffic be encrypted into HTTPS with a valid certificate.” but I can cast media directly from my phone with an app called Local Cast and I can cast directly from my laptop with VLC. Are those using HTTPS with a cert? I will test this out once I get it up and running.
I was able to get remote viewing working with Tailscale so that kind of bypasses the need for a static IP address. It just requires turning it on the server and client device to work. Unfortunately I have a stupid ass Vizio TV with the worst bullshit smart OS ever so I probably will have to get a Roku device if I can’t get casting to work.
Yeah I’ve been doing the same way for so long and honestly I don’t have any problems other than the couple of times I forgot to enable the VPN and got a slap on the wrist from my ISP. The shows I like to watch are spread out across so many services that it would cost me a fortune to subscribe to them all, so I do use eztv a lot and before that RARBG (RIP).
I seriously need to learn all of this stuff. For years I’ve just been doing the same thing. Turn on my VPN, find the movie or show I want on whatever torrent site, download it with qBittorent and then hook my laptop up to my receiver and play it with VLC.
That makes me sad. Fuck those guys!
For example: Unlimited original quality photo and video uploads to Google Photos
How do you get that unlimited with a custom ROM? They don’t even give that to Pixel owners anymore.
I do the same thing but I have my wife do the edges on the back of my neck because there’s just no way I can feasibly do that part myself.
Yes it has. Just to reiterate though, I am not saying a person should not visit a doctor. Everyone needs to to make their own health decisions and seeing a doctor certainly won’t cause any harm. I’m just passing along the info from the CDC.
Yep. I’m paying like $11 a month and I can play nearly any song I want at anytime from anywhere I am. I haven’t pirated music in years. On a side note, I would happily pay some reasonable dollar amount to do the same with TV and movies and never pirate anything again!
If you feel the need to see a doctor, by all means do so. As someone who has spent several decades camping and have been bitten by multiple ticks in my lifetime, I would not worry to much about it unless you start to notice the symptoms of Lyme disease. The CDC recommends seeing a doctor if you develop a rash or fever within several weeks of a tick bite. Source: https://www.cdc.gov/lyme/removal/index.html
This is just a demonstrably false statement that’s very easily fact checked. I’m not saying that to defend Apple. I’m a Google Pixel guy myself.
