Anyone who abstained on grounds of Harris’s position on Gaza in my view have blood on their hands in what will not only assuredly he worse for Palestinians under Trump, but also the ongoing attempted genocide in Ukraine by Putin.
They may as well be Trump voters to me and I want nothing to do with them.
Great counterpoint, buddy ;)
That in no way precludes one from being a tanky, but let’s explore:
God, I can’t believe you actually got me defending our own military industrial complex. But hey, I really hope you prove me wrong for their sake.
lmao?
Shit tankies say.
It’s simply a strategic move to cater to Trump’s ego.
It’s actually genius. Make Trump look good, tie US closer to Europe while unshackling from Russia.
Appealing to Trump’s ego is the only way allies will survive. And if Trump ever leaves office, it’s still good news if Dems get back in.
The actual logistical process of getting away from LNG is probably more monumental than is feasible in the near-term.
Your argument — hiding behind a counter-factual impossible to prove — is an old one. Cap it off with a Post Hoc fallacy, why don’t ya?
Educate yourself on the basic fallacies, and perhaps you’ll gain the prerequisite critical-thinking skills to have a good faith discussion.
(But boy, Palestinians are going to be ever so grateful for the uncommitted vote for the next 4+ years, LOL)
Binary choice.
Either Trump or Harris would win.
Harris better on literally every issue from climate change and LGBTQ+ rights and Women’s rights, to Ukraine and yes even marginally Gaza, itself.
We had a choice to help one or the other, and we chose the guy who is worse on every one of these issues. The GOP and Putin thank you for your service.
At the end of the day, these uncommitted voters contributed to the problem because they lacked the capacity to think strategically in their voting and lacking comprehension of the FPTP voting system we have. They seem to lack the fundamental understanding that there was a competing electoral group that Harris needed to obtain, like the large Jewish community in these key battleground states like Pennsylvania. Damned if she did; damned if she didn’t.
Golly, it’s almost like there’s a reason why Musk dumped $75 million dollars in attack ads with directly opposite messages, targeting both Muslim and Jewish communities in Pennsylvania at the same time? Were you aware of this? Evidently not.
So while Harris pushed for more aid into Gaza, sought a two-state solution, sought a permanent ceasefire, tell me… What did Trump promise? Oh yeah… “Finish the job.” Again, good luck.
No, I’m about 10 years ahead of you with the Democracy Now and 3rd party crap. I’ve been down that road long ago, my friend. Hopefully one day you’ll wise up, too.
I truly cannot grasp how uninformed one has to be to claim to be for Palestinians but think helping Trump’s odds was strategically better. Such profound ignorance is on par with maga, themselves.
On another note I want absolutely nothing to do with Mehdi Hasan. I supported him for quite some time but he got tunnel vision to such a degree he ended up thinking completely irrationally and contributing to the problem. He’s venturing into Jill Stein territory for me.
This not to mention down-ballot congressional races.
America: “Can you hold until after this election? You’ll have your answer then.”
I’m sure this will do wonders for reducing radicalization in the region… /s
Lmfao golden considering the amount of imports and exploitation of 3rd world nations as you drain their resources dry and exploit their cheap labor. Have some humility, buddy.
This is a huge deal. I remember watching early on in the war and one neurosurgeon was using a single CT scanner well beyond its duty cycle and knew once it went down they’d be screwed. MRIs by contrast (heh) are a massive step up.
Middle man supply chain injection. I’d be surprised if ceo knows anything.
To him, it’s win-win. Either he expands territory and genocides Ukraine, or her consolidates power as a wartime dictator and commits internal genocide by purging dissidents, ethnic minorities, etc. All the while further concentrating power.
Our modern Hitler.
Israel is a terrorist state. No different than Russia.
No, not all; just more so than you.
Yes he is. He’s pretty much Hitler in every way. What, are you waiting for 1940s Hitler and literal gas chambers to pop up until the dots become connected?
Seems pretty Hitler-like to me. You’re right, Hitler didn’t listen to calls for him to step down either.
Hmm…
Germany was one of a couple nations we’ve been considering immigrating to. My wife is an experienced RN, too.
My main concern is whether Germany will be able to brunt the far-right movement there or if it’s as inevitable as it was here in the US.
