yea…theres so many fallacies with ufo conspiracies…its just boring…
like why are these aliens so damn interested in contacting the US…and why do they suck so bad at driving their intergalactic spaceships???
see that would actually be interesting…an upper dimensional being somehow presenting in our observable dimensions (like how a cube would appear as a line flashing in and out while passing through the 2nd dimension)…that would be a fun (and maybe probable) conspiracy theory…real science and theory is actually even more insane and fantastical than made up conspiracies
my take is that just because objects cant be identified doesnt mean theyre alien.
also that the statistical likelihood of another life form with the same or greater intelligence as humans contacting us on this timeline is so infinitely small that its not even worth thinking about.
lol forreal.
also why do so many of these conspiracy nuts apparently have no grasp on just how old and how large the universe is? like please tell me how creatures more advanced than humans (which took 4.5 billion years on one planet to evolve enough complexity to even understand space travel) would somehow line up perfectly with our timeline and somehow be close enough and interested enough in us to say hello, but also be super sneaky about it…mmkay
yea id be fine with that…but my worry is apple restricts it to a predefined set of choices with no shortcuts integration at all. which is what they do with triple clicking the side button in accessibility for some reason.
and yea backtap is fine but between the tapping and shortcuts triggering it either doesn’t work or takes way too long. just think shortcuts could use way better integration to other parts of ios including hardware. but should feel more seamless
backed up with bitwarden. me likey both
also this would prob encourage further adoption of the shortcuts app for users and developers. apple could kind of “force them” to use it and further explore how powerful of an app it is.
i know from my own personal experience i dont use the app at all even though ive seen examples of how useful it can be, because it still feels like an overall clunky experience to use and to fully understand.
i consider myself decently tech literate (i made it on here at the very least lol) and have yet to feel the urge to put aside the time to really dig into that app.
theres no way the average iphone user or id wager even the average pro user even knows what the shortcuts app does, let alone uses it effectively.
honestly although we aint fuckin with reddit no more, head over to a general thread on match day at /r/soccer and see if links are posted in the comments. usually are…or let’s hope enough people move to lemmy in that time and one of the football communities is up and running with links galore.
or the glory days of reddit are relived and new sport streaming communities pop up on lemmy by that time. i have hope they will, especially as we near the first match
women’s world cup is coming up at the end of the month
need this and apple pay integration for firefox pls.
also whatever happened to that news about firefox and other browsers gearing up for non-safari based versions of ios apps? or did i misremember
torrentgalaxy better anyway. 1337x always been weird
