You know people can harass women or be dicks to their coworkers/subordinates and not be transphobic, right? Also, as of 2022, about 65 people work at Linus tech tips. Saying “Everyone was cool with it and endorsed it” is a bit of a broad statement to make.
I last used a chromium based browser more than 5 years ago. Recently I bought myself a tablet and had to make the difficult decision to switch to the kiwi browser there just because Mozilla can’t be bothered to include tabs for their tablet layout.
Huh. For me, the inbox is broken
As in, you are notified of replies?
I wasn’t the one writing the comment.
Infinity is not too bad right now, I am replying from it right now. My only real issue with it is that I can’t see whether people have responded to my posts/comments.
I prefer Liftoff, mainly because I am plagued by a well-known bug in jerboa that makes writing comments a big pain. However, since infinity got semi usable (it still has a bunch of references to reddit in its ui and the messages/replies page is broken) I have only used liftoff to check for replies. I am just used to infinity from years of reddit usage lol
I totally agree with what you’re saying. Also, I think UpperCamelCase is called Pascal case.
They were talking about the reviews featured in the article. Did you read it?
You should try to hit each muscle group at least 2 times per week. In your instance this means you should switch to full body workouts rather than doing an upper/lower split. So try focusing on compound/multi-joint movements rather than isolating individual muscle groups because otherwise your workouts will take a long time. I always try to include horizontal pushing and pulling as well as vertical pushing and pulling (so bench press, OHP, some kind of row, pull ups) and you could possibly get away with a single leg exercise so e.g. do deadlifts/squats on alternating days.
Lactic acid build up and DOMS are not correlated. This is a myth that has been debunked. As for why your legs were not sore, I don’t know what could cause that if you did the same amount of the same exercises at the same intensity as usual.
Just so you see it, on android at least I can recommend drip which is open source and also keeps your data local. It’s available on fdroid: https://f-droid.org/de/packages/com.drip/
How old are you? When I studied in Scotland 2016-2020, the preferred messaging app was messenger (i.e. facebook), and I’m curious whether that has changed in the last 3 years or whether it’s a different demographic.
Didn’t you have English classes at school? I have also significantly improved my English through English media such as reddit, youtube, movies, books etc. But I don’t know if I would have been able to do that without learning basic English at school.
True, the native app for Android TV also has some issues with certain audio codecs although I believe it does have subtitle selection. I had the luxury of being able to choose a TV specifically for gaming as well as Jellyfin so getting one with android TV was a nobrainer and I am happily using Kodi now. Let’s hope the native apps mature enough to make them feasible alternatives :)
Interesting. I on the other hand find the plex interface quite ugly - beside the fact that it’s not foss. Kodi has the advantage of skin support, I am using it with the embuary skin and it looks nice and does everything I want it to. I have also been using Jellyfin for the last 2 years or so, why do you say it needs to be more useable?
I’m curious, what do you dislike about Kodi? Is it just that you want a light player to use with mouse and keyboard while sitting at your desk?
At least on android TV, the latest release candidate for Kodi also finally properly supports DV. So I would expect the same thing to be the case for the windows version
They mean sparkling wine. It’s called Perlwein in German, hence the mistranslation.
