To your point, Ukraine lacks resources for both Ice cream and bbbrrrrrtttt.
They are fighting for their freedom.

If the USAF doesn’t want to deal with the A-10s supply chain, there’s a good chance Ukraine doesn’t either.
The only thing that keeps the A-10 flying is Congressional mandates from a few jobs-oriented congressmen.
Billie is no Jenna Coleman, but she’s still cute.
What are your hobbies, OP?
Start a car detailing business. Use the water to wash the cars.
Use the money from new, low-overhead business to do anything you want.
Carls Jr Microsoft Windows. Fuck you, I’m eating!
I disagree that the culture currents have changed that fast.
If the economy recovered and gave much better prospects for young people and housing was cheaper, they’d still be expected to move out on their own.
I think people understand the realities of our current situation, but usually multigenerational housing is still not considered an ideal situation.
I assume you are American, and probably not Hispanic?
Because these assumptions are extremely cultural.
Anyways, for white Americans “Self-sufficiency” (or Self-reliance as Ralph Waldo Emmerson called an extreme version of it) is an old Puritan value, like hardwork and lifelong monogamy.
Every conspiracy theory comes back to covering for oil money and the political party they run (Republicans).
Watergate proven to happen? “Yeah, but aliens…” worked so well to distract and muddle the public that Reagan was elected in another landslide six years later.
On-demand (or surge) power generation like this is much different then base power generation like you get from solar, wind or nuclear (or theoretically fusion).
Long story short, any functional power grid needs both because generation has to match demand, and demand is uneven and wonky.
The most common surge power source is small natural gas plants. This is a replacement for those.
It presumes there will be extra electricity.
There’s always extra electricity. Eg. Solar generates power during the day, charges this “battery” and then powers lighting at night when demand is higher and people need to be able to see.
Plenty of independent coffee shops sell Lotus energy drinks for this exact reason.
To add to all this, if most of your customers are seriously there to taste their flavored syrups and milk of their favorite drink, you wouldn’t want to alter or even ruin that with unexpected, unique coffee flavors.
He just means “feature phone”
Dark Roasted coffee is the only way Starbucks can be Starbucks.
Lighter-roasted coffee emphasizes origin flavors and i agree with you --generally tastes better and is more interesting.
But you can’t sell coffee like that in tens of thousands of coffee shops and have it remotely consistent.
Coffee growing from the same plot but on one side of a hill will taste different from the other side due to getting different quantities of sunlight. Complex origin flavors will always be the domain of small specialty coffee shops.
Starbucks has McDonalds-like consistency serving millions of customers a day and that’s only because they emphasize the flavors they can get consistently–roast flavors.
TL;DR The bigger the chain, the darker you have to roast. That’s just how coffee works.
In MLB, Season tickets holders are personally handled by an agent from the team’s ticket office. Some MiLB clubs might do the same.
It’s supposed to make the experience feel more premium.
Just tell him you’d prefer a more “carvana-like” experience.
It’s definitely old-fashioned, but baseball is notoriously slow to change.
Linux gives you the ability to be your own system admin.
Most people don’t want or need that and have been steadily handing over more and more admin duties of their systems to Microsoft, Apple and Google since smartphones have become widely adopted.
But Linux is totally usable to anyone who had enough admin skills to run Windows XP and not get totally wrecked by malware. It’s just a matter of learning.
Sounds like an inheritance problem.
Is this a boilerplate comment?
Some styrofoam, some blow-molded plastic trays.
And the juice absorbing liner is always plastic, too.
