The purpose is they don’t want users to leave the mouse permanently plugged in. That would leave an ugly wire to their beautiful wireless product. in my opinion the only pointing device apple ever got right was the trackpad. Their mice have been absolute crap since the iMac g3 hockey puck mouse days. During the G4 era they had that transparent pill looking mouse, then the pill with the ball scroller that would collect hair. Then magic mouse and now this. Consistently bad since the early 2000s is actually quite impressive.
correct, newpipe has no account integration be design for privacy
It’s actually 23.976 and yes it’s because of NTSC frame rates. But increasingly things are shot now at a flat 24p since we’re not as tied down to the NTSC framerate these days.

In case this isn’t a joke… maybe get more organized? It seems very wasteful both to your wallet but also in general to keep buying multiple mice and then also losing them a lot. All that packaging, shipping, e-waste you’re creating because you can’t just put a tiny effort into being organized. Like if you use a wireless mouse with a laptop just always put it with the laptop? Or always put it in a specific place?
Or if I took money from their families to pay for moon missions
That’s not how large democracies work, my friend. It’s not some dictatorship they can instantly move money around to solve problems with. In fact India spends WAYYYYYY more on welfare than it does on ISRO. It’s something like 2 billion USD to 250 billion USD. In fact the problem isn’t just money its how its distributed, corruption, etc. If the Indian government decided to defund ISRO and put that money to welfare, it would be a tiny drop in a massive bucket. Defunding ISRO would also have major ramifications on their aerospace industry, many thousands would be out of jobs, those with higher educations would leave the country to find opportunities. Have you looked at how India is doing with abject poverty in the past 20 years? The graphs are all trending down. Is it perfect? absolutely not. Every country could do something better, India has a lot of things it needs to work on. In my opinion, building up its own indigienous space industry is a net positive for India and is not taking money away from poor people.
What I’m getting at is it’s so easy to criticize a nation for their faults without looking at the complex socioeconomic and political issues at hand.
Pretty sure its extremely difficult to get out of Afghanistan, especially if you’re a woman. In fact I don’t think you can unless you’re accompanied by a man. I get what you’re saying but “getting out” is immensely dangerous
Man I wish I had the foresight. I distinctly remember the game store at my local mall had a bunch of virtual boys in a bargain bin.
Very cool! I installed it but it looks like custom instances are disabled for a bit. I don’t feel like setting up an account on the Artemis instance so I’ll wait. Exciting to see progress though
Got a source for that? From what I’ve read the official stance is that if the account has any purchased games its not eligible for deletion: https://www.theverge.com/2023/7/24/23805783/ubisoft-delete-game-accounts
Because sensational news headlines/articles
Yeah but one can infer that it’s not a literal governmental force but a societal force
I had a CRT for a while, I have a bunch of systmes i’ve been collecting since I was a kid. Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, Xbox… but I got rid of the CRT because honeslty its way more of a pain to go to the basement, find the game i want and play. Sure its way more authentic but I can just grab my Retroid Pocket 2+ and play all those games and thousands more in seconds.
That could easily be rectified by proper battery management firmware
