I feel like even if we think we know of nuclear contaminants, identifying it and procedures on what to do in these situations should really be compulsory education for everyone.

Like i said in my reply to someone else, the ANC were literally the saving grace of the majority of the country after Apartheid. Their constitution and the country’s constitution is so ideal. We would have sung the ANCs praises from then until now if only they jad kept their promises that they made post Apartheid. And there was a will and the money to do so, but unfortunately corruption got in the way. Of course it was also the IMF that imposed their usual ridiculous conditions on the country. But there’s no doubt that corruption was the final nail in the coffin, so to speak.

It’s a bit of a misconception that the general population has strong ties to the west. It’s mostly the minority upper middle to rich class( that happens to still be mostly white) that are west-aligned.

The vast majority of the population are unaligned.

It’s been quite a common incorrect perception to equate the minority moneyed classes’ opinions and ideoligies to the that of the majority population, when it’s simply false.

This us vs you mentality is really rubbing a lot of people the wrong way, and telling us that our neutrality means that we’re supporting the global west/ north’s enemy is frankly insulting, considering what the global west/ north has done in the past and is still doing now.
