I never seen a standing desk honestly, I thought it was a meme more than anything else.
It doesn’t bother you looking up or are you a giraffe ?🦒

I think it’s mostly down to the fact the units could be mixed when written down.
Mg and mg should not create confusion in theory the standard milion prefix in metric is a capital M.
The official definition of a 1,000 kg is Mg but it’s not very frequently used in practice. Mostly because use of metric tonnes was already diffused
Keep in mind that there is more than just SI units used in Europe in the past. For example if you read through an old thermodynamics textbook in Italian it is likely to use a lot calories and often the CGS system (centimeter grams second and calories).
It’s typically shortened as t. So a mass of 1,000,000 kg will be referred as 1,000 t
Normally it’s clear from the context and what units you are using so there is no ambiguity.
True although it didn’t take much effort for the Orange man case
Probably he is doing deliberately to trigger the US government, we bought one of your oligarchs.
Do due diligence first then buy
Thank you barsoap! So even if there is no assistance request is given if the person is clearly lost or soon to be in need of assistance you need to provide assistance.
I’m not an expert in maritime law, or any law for that matter, but why they had to help him?
If he wanted to be in danger he succeeded, provided he doesn’t request the coastal guard for assistance he is not hurting anything but himself. Is It because his hamster wheel might have been a hazard to other boats?
Are you okay?
It’s not just east Europe some people in western Europe at the very least in Italy do so as well.
Risotto with wild mushrooms is about a million times tastier than with Portobello type.
Rotating equipment are replaceable is not that much of an issue they operate on regular steam.
Buildings are reinforced concrete unlikely to be a concern not in a reasonable timeframe unless rebars corrode for some reason.
Issue would be items operating with water directly in contact with the reactor, so critical piping, heat exchangers and reactor vessels, which I can’t say I am an expert specifically for nuclear plants.
I imagine the main concern would be the reactor itself as all reat can be replaced.
What a shocker! None was expecting that.
(It’s obviously sarcasm)
Yeah their original excuse to remove it was largely related to space due to the modular design.

Well other countries have and are doing done so. I really doubt that the reason is anything that politics.
