It is just a Python Script. I believe that you have more reasons to run it locally instead of building a container. I mean, I dont think that the logs or the command execution should happen from a container.

You can try to scan your server with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus (it is available as a docker container) or sn1per which is open source.

I have used both, personally I prefer kavita as it runs faster.
However kavita needs to create user accounts as well as it is auto categorizing books and comics which personally I hate, especially for my cybersecurity books.
Well, personally I prefer the one with Enforcing Selinux by default.🐘
But if it does not getting any updates, it is a bit risky… Find a custom which gets security updates and then do whatever they say in other comments.
