1·1 year agoI don’t think it costs them money out right but i think they’re backend is hosted at aws. All these requests need processing power. That’s where the increase in cost to them comes from.
Its only sent to you in 4K if they determine you have the bandwidth available for it. They can send it to you at whatever resolution they want to.
