I really like it, the ai stuff can mostly just be ignored but the ai button on mobile is really big and annoying. My biggest issue with it is that there’s no way to download documents you made using a cloud account, but I think they’re planning on adding that

Yes, but they have made a lot of progress in that time. I’ve been following it since the final alpha and it’s been coming along very nicely and is genuinely already really close to being usable for me. All it’s missing is good multi monitor support and a little bit better web browser

My favorite is probably Haiku because it has in my opinion the best floating window manager in the world and just overall feels really good to use. Once it develops further I would genuinely consider using it as my main OS on my laptop. I’ll probably always keep a Linux distribution on my desktop for games though.

(Also your explanation for using windows is a little weird. Minecraft Java works just as well on linux as on windows and you can use bedrock edition with mcpelauncher and it works pretty well. I’ve literally never used anything not linux based as my main OS and I haven’t had anything I actually wanted to play not work since like 5 years ago)

Sometimes this is true, but sometimes UI updates really are just bad. Euro Truck Simulator 2 redid its UI in 1.50 and it’s so much harder to use. Everything used to just be convenient buttons and information on the main menu, now everything is in really confusing menus and even though it’s been out for a few months now I still have so much trouble using it and it feels so good to go back to an older version with a good UI. (Also the new UI is just horrendously ugly because they made everything completely flat but that’s just personal taste I guess)

I think it was a security torx screw if I remember correctly so it makes sense he wouldn’t necessarily have an appropriate bit, but it would have been so little effort to just order one or go to a store

I stopped watching when he got that one rare IBM workstation and sloppily dremeled in all the the screws to open it because he was too lazy to go to the store to buy a screwdriver. That was before I even heard about this and the stupid gun stuff. I know it’s like a minor thing and he only damaged screws and sheet metal parts that could in theory be replaced with a medium amount of difficulty, but I just can’t imagine intentionally damaging something very uncommon because you’re too lazy to buy a screwdriver

That’s a commodore computer, their keyboards aren’t terrible but they’re kind of squishy and not the best

Well it detects it for me and I am neither using a VPN nor any additional encryption. I’m guessing it’s just their normal thing of slowly rolling out changes instead of to every user at once.
