Oh please, its been terrible for years now and we all know it. Not in every sub, but the top level ones absolutely are

I just used my other alias on my email account, no VPN’s didnt clear cookies, nothing. Had no problems
God that’s actually worse than my banning (I posted a Google Streetview link of a layby). Incredible. Has anyone ever appealed and won? Ever?
That is helpful to know. Probably why I haent been banned as I use reddit on web only, ditched the Android reddit crapplication
I hope you’re right.
Yes, I hope it has been making China have second thoughts about invading Taiwan
I do like to see uplifting good news stories like this
It is more likely for women than it is for men - male sexual orientation tends to be more fixed. Men who “become gay” were likely always predisposed to it or bisexual at the very least. The causative biological mechanisms for male and female sexual orientation are different, and in the case of women, less clear
Close to ten, but I didnt leave, I got permabanned, I still dont know why
Street numbers and signage are censored too. There was a driveway off it, but the whole location had already been shown extensively on a youtube video that was the subject of the thread and had thousands of views already, so it wasnt as if it was information that wasnt very widely available and public already
I can beat that
I was permabanned from Reddit for posting a Google Streetview link… of a public layby
I still dont even know why
That is a good point. I put a long indepth and very heavily researched post with a heap of links to sources on one of my local subs on there. It was downvoted to oblivion because people didnt like it. You have changed my mind as I was about to say I was in favour of the karma system, but you are right, it does need to work differently
I used reddit on desktop, didnt have an ad blocker, ocassionally clicked on ads (usually by mistake), and bought a shitload of coins. I also contributed a lot of content that people found helpful. Didnt stop me getting perma banned for reasons that I still dont understand.
I really dont think there is any algorithm or any logic or rationale behind the ban process at all, its almost completely aritrary
